career highlights

































miguel ángel is an accomplished stylist/colourist, educator, platform artist, motivational speaker and salon owner. having assisted josé eber's colourists/beverly hills salon'94, there he mastered many styles and colouring techniques.

miguel ángel has been the key hairdresser for television programs. most recent, 'before and after' segments: 'manita de gato' local syndication (due next spring of'05), 'ellos + ella' channel 34/los angeles (univision) and the nationally syndicated morning program 'de mañanita', produced by the telemundo network, where he did a 'major' colour and cut transformation (may'02). past tv programs include: navidad en el barrio/univision and cara a cara con maria laria/telemundo.

while at jcpenney styling salon/stonewood center, miguel ángel was a regional manager of education for sebastian national accounts, to presently owning TIJERAS/the salon in the city of downey, california. goldwell USA contracted him to be a part of the national presenters group/platformwork. having gone international/(ebs-mexico city '97), where he helped launch the goldwell line.

with over fifteen years of experience, miguel ángel, is presently international field manager of education (a part time contract) for bio-ionic founded by fernando romero in beverly hills, california, a patented and advanced hair straightening technology sytem, based on the healing powers of negative ions (as seen in: vogue, stylo, seventeen, modern salon-may2002 issue) and other great magazines.

miguel ángel's travels are frequent and on a national and international level, sharing his methods of training/success at many IBS classrooms, platform shows, the latino show (major spanish trade show), career day programs at high schools and colleges in the los angeles and orange county areas.
